Good Day!

Hello everyone! So today was a wonderful day! Tori and I both had a great day. She will tell you more about her day today tomorrow... It has to do with a dress! :) At work today, I had to give a presentation and it went pretty good! It is looking like we will probably end up in Melbourne when we get married! ;) Besides that, we had a great time together when I got home from work. First, we just spent time together at my apartment. Then, we ate turkey burgers and went to some stores together. I'm just so thankful to God for our lives together! We are going to have such a great life! We sure are blessed! Goodnight everyone! :)

Also, Siesta key is right around the corner and we are super excited! This picture was taken the first day of vacation last year! Definitely ready for some rest! :)

Great things are coming!

Gooooood evening! I hope you all are well! Today was pretty normal as far school and work for us... Haha. I did homework and watched the Olympics ALL DAY. When Daniel got home from work we had dinner with Stephen, Amanda and Cody at Daniel's apartment! It was nice, and kind of family-like all sitting at the table together! Hahaha. Then I did my final exam for my technology class! One more exam, three more days of class, five days until Siesta Key, 297 days until marriage! YAY!

That's banana pudding.

Tomorrow, after class Brooke is coming with me to go back to try on the first dress I tried on and another bridal shop I haven't been to! Daniel has his presentation at work tomorrow, be praying for him!!

Also, someone pulled the fire alarm at Daniel's apartment... Fun stuff....

Church, Worship, and Other Things!

Such a great day today! We went to church, which was great. Tori and I sang at Genesis Church for the first time today. We really enjoyed it! Everyone was very nice and made sure to make us feel welcomed and appreciated. Wednesday we are having dinner with the worship leader and his wife! The message for the day was that there is only one God; it was a good message! After church we went out to lunch with the Evans and the Lacognatas and had a wonderful time spending quality time with them! Then we went to my apartment and Tori did homework while I tried to figure some computer things out. After homework we watched Mulan/took a nap. We haven't had time to just do nothing for a while it feels like so a nap was definitely relaxing. Once we woke up, Mulan was still on and it was dinner time so we ate our P.F. Chang's leftovers! It's a good moment when you realize that you are eating an ethnic food while watching a movie of a history of that ethnicity! So that's what our picture is of. Haha. After the movie, we went to Barnes and Noble where I bought a Study Bible, which I am excited about. I have learned, if nothing else from college, how to study! So I figured I could apply that to my spiritual walk with Him! As I was debating over which study bible to go with, Tori was looking at the newest Knot magazine! So excited for our lives ahead, and so glad we are keeping Him first! Goodnight everyone! :)

Tampa and more!

Well, today was a busy and eventful day. Our morning was tiring enough for the whole day, but my mom and I drove to Tampa to have a bridal shower lunch with Nichole and her family. It was nice! Afterwards, we went to two bridal shops. Still no dress! But that's ok! We met up with Daniel and his cousin at the Mall at Millenia and walked around for a little bit. My mom headed back to Ocala and Daniel, Elmo and I went to P.F. Chang's for dinner! YUM!

To say the least, a LOT of things went wrong today... But it still turned out to be a great day. I'm so blessed with amazing family and an incredible fiance!

The painting below is what I made for Nichole (and Jason), but didn't quite make it to her because we forgot it was on the roof of the car and it flew off. Praise the Lord, Daniel found it on the side of the road still together four hours later! It hadn't been run over and only needs a few touch ups! Excited for their wedding!!
Goodnight!

Lunch in Melbourne, Olympics in Orlando!

This is us! Today Tori and her mother (Seen above) did some dress shopping in Melbourne! Which was great, even though I don't know how it really went, because I got to have lunch with them! We went to TooJay's Gourmet Bistro and it was super good. After we went to lunch, I had to go back to work while Tori and her mom looked at dresses! When I got out of work, we went to Historic Cocoa Village and walked around the little stores (and ate icecream!). After that, we drove to Tori's apartment to watch the opening ceremonies for the Olympics! And now, Tori is working on something as we all watch the Parade of Nations as they all get ready for the Summer Games!

Last Night of Ignite Week!

And man, we are exhausted!! We had a blast, that's for sure... but I am so ready for some rest! Though it's not looking like I'll get that this weekend... Busy, busy, busy! Tomorrow my beautiful mother is coming here and we are driving to Melbourne, having lunch with Daniel, and then doing hopefully my last bit of dress shopping! When Daniel gets off we will probably explore the area and just hang out! My mom is going to stay with me in my apartment, sleepover!! In the morning, we are waking up and heading to Nichole's (my brother's fiance) bridal shower! Should be fun! I'm working on a little something for that... Afterwards, if I don't find my dress tomorrow, we may look around the Tampa/Clearwater area for a dress! Sunday, Daniel and I will be helping lead worship at Genesis! So excited!

The drawing is compliments of Cheney Evans, of Daniel and I she drew a while back. Precious. I thought it would be appropriate with hanging out with kids all week. (Including Cheney, and her four siblings)

10 months!!

Sooooo, the big news is... Tori and I are getting married! Yay! In 10 months! And we've been engaged for 2 months! And we've been together for 1 year and 9 months! All happening today!

Besides that, we are both really tired from the week so we are both gonna get to bed early! One more day of ignite and then we can relax a little! But, we are still enjoying it!

Well goodnight to all! Thank you all for keeping up with us! Please continue to pray for us! You can never have too much help :)

Day 3: Ignite Week!

Oh man! Ignite week is going great! It has been a really great opportunity for Daniel and I to meet people and get plugged in at Genesis! We're having so much fun with the kids! My feet are killing me from jumping around so much, so the picture is of Daniel giving me a foot massage after Ignite before he left for his apartment.

On the other hand, I have not been feeling so well! On my way to class I started to feel my throat swelling... It has been sore all day... As well as some other weird things like shakiness and nauseousness... and a little dizziness. I think I may be fighting something. So please be praying, followers! ;) Especially because Daniel and I will be singing (and Daniel playing) at church this weekend! Luckily, Daniel also made me some tea. He always takes care of me!

Also, my parents booked our tickets for California tonight! For my brother, Jason and future sister-in-law, Nichole's September wedding! SO excited!

Tomorrow is an important day! But, I'll let Daniel tell you all about that tomorrow. Goodnight! God bless! 6 more class periods! 11 days until Siesta Key! :D

Day 2: Ignite Week!

Today was the second day of Ignite (hence the title). Tori and I are really tired already but we know we can make it through the week. I'm gonna go to bed a little earlier then normal; Since I work an hour and some small amount of minutes away from where I live (and where church is) I kinda need a little extra rest!

It's crazy for me to think that it's almost been two months that we've been engaged! I try not to let myself forget that fact because it's so exciting! In two days we will have ten months till our big day! Sooooo much is going to happen from now 'til then: Class Class Class, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Job (hopefully), graduation from college, and on and on. But through all of that, my excitement lies in the happenings of the fact that we have ten months and two days until our BIG day! :)

Day 1: Ignite Week!

Hey everyone! Today was great! We went to breakfast at the Boston Coffeehouse this morning! (where we did homework a couple weeks ago) It was great! We went to church, where Pastor Tim talked about Parenting. Daniel and I thought it was a great message! After church we went back to my apartment to finish my final project for one of my classes! We then went to IGNITE at church! It's a Vacation Bible School type deal. (the theme is the Olympics!) Loads of fun and dancing! It was such a great time and we're excited for the rest of the week with these kids! Two more weeks of school! Then vacation!

Sleepy time! Good night! Love and blessings!

Great is the word of the day.

Family!

So far Tori and I have been having a great weekend! We drove to Ocala and spent good quality time with both of our families! We both laughed so much! Great time! Pus, Tori did a little more dress shopping! Tomorrow is church and we are both looking forward to that. This week we are volunteering at a young youth event; which that starts tomorrow! Pray that we will have endurance to last for the week! :) Goodnight everyone!

Ocala, Sherlock Holmes and more dress shopping!

Daniel had his interview this morning! It went well. I tried to pack and clean up my room. I'm trying to move most of my stuff out of my apartment, so there's less I have to take back to Ocala in two weeks. After two more weeks, I'll move back to Orlando, but in the dorms this time! We didn't end up going dress shopping today, but we're going to Gainesville tomorrow! Yay! My dad has a feeling we're going to find the one tomorrow... I hope he's right!! We got to spend some quality time with our families today, which is always nice! We watched the newest Sherlock Holmes with my parents! So good.

The picture is from a while back when there was a lunar eclipse. We were watching it with his sisters. I'm wearing his clothes. And I'm small. The end. :)

Good night! God bless!

A Hectic Week!

This week was hectic but don't worry, we can handle it! Tori had an important test and quizzes and homework assignments and her final project due o.O and I have an interview tomorrow. I am both excited and nervous! But if God wants me there, that's where I'll be! Also, this weekend Tori and I are going to Ocala so she can continue looking for the perfect dress for her! :) Yep.

Today we saw like five deer close to campus.

Also, we went to Smokey Bones to eat.

Tori wants me to tell you all about the flowers and peanut butter m&m's I got her as a gift just because, but I'm not going to.

We don't like fast food. Or coca-cola.

It rained really badly today, and lightninged too.

I had to take a really quick shower when I got to my apartment after work today, Tori was waiting, she was hungry.

Then we watched Lost.

Goodnight.

Sincerely,
Daniel Ramirez

STUDYING.

Hey y'all! Today was pretty boring... I went to class and studied all day. Daniel worked and is planning his senior project as I study for my astronomy test tomorrow. All I can think about is the wedding! I just want to plan stuff, not study astronomy. Though it is interesting, it's just not as fun! If I get a good amount of school work done, we're going to go to Ocala! and from there we might go to Gainesville to check out some more bridal shops! I'm so ready for a vacation!! Two and a half more weeks!!!

The picture is from a jammy date to Chili's Daniel and I went on. It was so much fun and something different! Though there were a lot of odd looks...

Back to studying! Good night!

P.S. I also added a "Follow by Email" option, if you want to get email updates when we post!!

Wedding Countdown Widget ------------------------------->

Today, after I got home from work, Tori and I did homework for her. She has a big test coming up Thursday so we kind of have to stay on top of that. Because of this, no updates for the wedding! But while I was sitting with spare time and not much to do, I decided to add a countdown to the right so now everyone is up to date with the date! Go ahead, hover over it. Well, I think it's cool! Yay have a great night! :)

The picture is my profile picture on facebook. I like it!

Dress Shopping!

Ok, I'll get straight to the point. No decision has been made as far as THE dress goes. But, that is OK! Although, I tried on a dress I loved... We will probably explore some more options! We had lots of fun trying on dresses and we met some really nice people! I probably tried on about 15 or more dresses today! WHEW. Needless to say, I'm exhausted! So, I'm going to sleep now because I have class in the morning! Unfortunately.

Just in case we were considering a disco ball wedding...

Truth.

Today, Tori and I auditioned to be on the worship team at Genesis and we are in! We may even start in two weeks, which is pretty exciting. We really feel like God has placed us here. The people really seek Truth, which is a big deal for us (The picture is of Tori's tattoo on her wrist!). As long as we let Truth guide us, then surely we will be headed in the right direction! So that was pretty great news for us today!

On another subject, Tori bought a robe today because... she is going dress shopping tomorrow with her mom and maid of honor! :) Yay! Of course, she will go into a little more detail in tomorrows post, but it won't be too much detail because I read the blogs, and I can't know! ;) I cannot wait to see her in it. Too bad it's gonna be 10 months and 10 days till I do!

Thats it for today! Goodnight to all!! :)

My Apologies.

Here we are. Power frowning. Why, you ask? Well... We forgot to write the blog last night... OOPS! I'm terribly sorry if you opened your computer this morning and were heartbroken. It was not intended. ;) So, here is your early afternoon post about yesterday.

We went to a coffee shop near Daniel's apartment, which was AMAZING! I can't wait to go back, it was so good. We were there working on my homework for a couple of hours, which you all know is my favorite thing to do...

Afterwards, we went to Daniel's to work on more homework... Which was more like silly time. Hahaha. Afterwards, we went to my apartment and I made some chicken and veggies. Yum. During dinner we watch the finale of the first season of LOST! After Part 2, we made some tasty desserts and then watched Part 3!

Tonight, you'll read about today! :D

A Prehistoric Adventure!

Today I was working and I kept getting texts from Tori. I usually love getting texts from her, but these weren't my favorite texts. Have you ever had a day that wasn't going the way you wanted it to? When it feels like everything you do fails and everything you don't do still fails? And they are only small things; internet won't work, dropped phone (no damage), then dropped keys right after, then forgot to put a lid on the blender and everything goes everywhere, then you go to clean it and bump your head on the counter, and on and on! Well, though this was not describing Tori's literal day, she was having "one of those days". So at about 2:30 I texted her and said for her to relax, maybe take a bath, maybe start a new book, and just chill until I get there. And I told her not to even think about making dinner!

So, after work I went straight to her apartment and had some cloths for the evening so I took a shower while she was watching a show on TV. And then we wen't to Downtown Disney. For those of you who don't know, Tori is a dinosaur fan (specifically the velociraptor). Also, there is a restaurant at Downtown Disney with a couple handfuls of prehistoric animals that are animatronic (most people would call them "robotic"). So I took her there! It was a really neat experience and we enjoyed the food.

After dinner, we were going to go see the newest member of the Ice Age family, but we ran out of time! So we just went to ColdStone and had a hot chocolate cake with ice cream on top! Delicious.

That is all for today, hope you are all ready for a great weekend! :) God bless!

Cooking, LOST, and dress shopping...

Hi there! So, I made this cauliflower crusted pizza tonight for dinner! Well, it wasn't the greatest cooking experience and turned into a lasagna kind of... But it still tasted good! Thank God for Pinterest, I've had so much fun trying new things to cook!! We're trying to be healthy over here. Hahaha. After dinner, I made yogurt covered blueberries, blackberries, strawberries and raspberries and then froze them! They were delicious!

Daniel and I have been watching LOST! We are almost done with the 1st season, just the finale left! I've forgotten most of the show, so it's like a whole new show! Hahaha.

Monday, we are planning on going dress shopping!!! YAY!!! I can't wait!

Unfortunately, next week I have so much school work... Which is a bummer. I'm ready to finish my summer classes and have a little vacation in Siesta Key already! Less than a month left!

That's all I got! Hahaha. Good night!

Promises.

Image. 1

Sometimes people make promises. And sometimes they make even more promises later. But that doesn't mean that they forget the old promises you made! Last Summer I gave Tori a promise ring (refer to Image. 1) on the beaches of Siesta Key as the palm trees whistled in the wind and the moon was in it's waxing gibbous phase though it was not visible due to the cloudy hays that covered the night's sky. That night I brought awareness to Tori that my whole heart belonged to her and that I would like to symbolically represent this through a ring. The importance of the promise ring is not just it's symbolism of love, but of love in the form of promises. Not only did I vow that I would love her forever, I also vowed that, because of this love, I would wait for her. This promise was significant on multiple levels. It meant that I would wait for her as she left for college later that month, it meant that no other girl would even turn my eye in want in her absence, and it meant that we as a couple would wait until we exchanged our wedding vows for what we knew should wait until then. Now I've made some more promises with the next ring I gave her; that we will be married, that I will provide, and that I will continue the promises represented by her other ring. I'm still not done yet though! One more ring, a few more promises, but it's okay because I like to make promises! Especially to someone as deserving as my sweet Tori.

May 25th, HERE WE COME!

We have officially reserved our date, May 25th, at the Hilton of Ocala! We are super thrilled to have a venue that is so great for us! I get my trees, a beautiful location, the perfect date and so much more! I'm so excited for the big day! They are willing to work with our budget and want to give us the best day possible! Such great things are ahead. We're freaking getting married!!!

Next step: Working with the chef and getting a good affordable menu. ;)

Shout out to my daddy! I couldn't ask for a better father. He works so hard to make everyone happy. He has made all this possible. I know that he wants to make this day the best for Daniel and I, and he will make sure it happens, because that's who he is. Dad, walking down the aisle with you has been something I've dreamed of since I was a little girl. It's one of the things I look forward to most for the big day. I love you, I always will. I'm forever your little girl.

Ok, so I made this chicken cheddar broccoli crescent braid for dinner tonight. Not gonna lie, it was pretty good. I also made my own jello. Hahaha. I like to cook, especially for Daniel. It makes me so happy when he looooooves something I make!

So, I wasn't sure what to write about today, so I drew a creepy picture as a surprise for Tori tomorrow... SUPRISE!!!

Anyways, Tori and I have started reading a book together titled "Love and Respect." So far it has been a real eye opener. It puts words to what so many people deal with in a relationship. Tori and I have never had an argument, but sometimes I do say something that hits her the wrong way, and vice versa. Thanks to only the first few pages of this book, I now know the things I can do to avoid unnecessary conflict. I can already see it as being a very beneficial book and I am excited to continue it and finish it! :)

I hope you all like my ugly "drawing"! Goodnight to all!

IKEA! and stuff.

Gooooood evening! Today started with a lovely church service at Genesis! The famous, John R. Evans spoke this morning and did a great job. ;) After church Daniel and I went to Qdoba for lunch! YUM. We then journeyed to the wonderful world of IKEA. We certainly got lots of ideas for our apartment. Although there's still so much more to decide, we've got a pretty good plan as far as style and colors. We're looking for modern, comfortable, and mature. Hahaha. We took tons of pictures of rooms that we like and would like to take bits and pieces from! After IKEA, we went to register some more things. It's fun! (I also wouldn't suggest looking it up anytime soon, we are constantly adding and deleting with these frequent trips.) When we had obviously spent too much time at Target and were both exhausted, we finally headed back to my apartment, ate leftover pizza and watched Courageous. It was pretty good! Though the acting is hard to overlook sometimes. ;)

Tomorrow, we go back to school and work, unfortunately! I'm hoping that we will know the official venue and date by the end of this week! But you never know... It might be longer than that! Well, I best get some rest! I'm so thankful for my Daniel, my amazing family and friends, and all the wonderful people God has placed in my life. I am so blessed. Good night! Have a great week y'all!

Style, Color, Etc.

So, today we again embarked on a hunt for the perfect venue for our day. As a reminder, it was Silver Springs and the Hilton. We are still not one hundred percent sure where the wedding is going to be, although after today we know where we would prefer. It's looking like we will be making a decision within the next week or so, although that is tentative. :)

Tomorrow Tori and I are going to IKEA to look at some furniture. Our main interest is to get some inspiration as far a style, color, etc. for when we start registering more. Anytime we start thinking about all the wonderful things that we have to plan and prepare for this next year we get so excited!

This picture is Old, and I'm not sure from where! haha

I hope you all have a wonderful day tomorrow! Good night!

Venue Hunting!

Hey everyone! Today was a nice and relaxed day! Daniel made me breakfast and we ate while we watched a movie. For lunch, we went to Daniel's grandparents' house! Where we met that cute little rat pictured above! Afterwards, we drove to Ocala and spent some time with our families. My mom made a yummy dinner. :D We also went to Target again! Big day tomorrow! We're looking at the Hilton and Silver Springs. We're so excited to hopefully pick our venue! Sleeeeeeepy time! Good night and God bless!

Registry!

So the big news of the day... we started registering! The place of choice? Target! I was really suprised by the amount of things they had there. We only "bleeped" six thing so far though. Tori and I decided that it would be a good idea to go ahead and regroup, analyze the situation, create an optimum plan of action, and attack... Later! It was so very exciting. Thinking about things that will go in OUR apartment! So ready for this separate places business to be over. But for now, that's okay. We are closer now than ever! So we are definitely making progress! Well, that is both the update of the day and photo of the day! Sort of short and sweet so I hope you all enjoyed! Goodnight and God bless! :)

Happy Independence Day!

Happy 4th of July everyone!

Today, I spent the whole day studying for my astronomy test tomorrow morning. 10 hours of reading chapters, answering questions and defining words. Pray for me tomorrow! Pretty sure this test is not going to be an easy one. Hahaha.

Luckily, I finished a good amount of work so that Daniel and I were able to celebrate a bit. Daniel read pretty much the whole time while I was studying. He has the rest of the week off! I didn't. Anyways, we went to the Cheesecake Factory and had some cheeseburgers in honor of America. ;) Afterwards, we went to Baldwin Park, (where Daniel proposed) and watched like 20 fireworks shows at once over the lake! I though this was really cool! Nothing like I've ever done before! We saw some pretty good ones! and they were free!

Really hoping for a relaxing rest of the week/weekend. Still a good amount of schoolwork to finish though. I want to catch some rays! Also, we might go to Ocala on Saturday to look at more venues. I'm so ready to settle the time and place, so we can really start updating you all!

Well, I best get some rest for my test! (How's that for rhyming?) Goodnight all! I hope you had a fun and safe holiday! Special thanks to our soldiers and veterans who make the day possible! :)

Class Assignment!

Tori has been working on a video recently, not to my knowledge, about our engagement. It was an assignment from one of her classes to tell a story by video, so she chose our engagement. She happened upon a few videos that I recorded on my computer while looking for material for her video. They were of me the night before I proposed, leaving her little messages about the plans I had and how excited I was. She wasn't suppose to see those for a long time, maybe years, but regardless, she did! Of course, since I didn't know she was doing this video until yesterday, it was a big surprise to see my video on hers! But she loved it so it was good! After watching that video I cannot believe that we are less than eleven months from the BIG day. Hopefully, still looking for venues! But that's just part of the fun!! :D

The photograph has no significance to todays story, but Tori looks so sweet! Just one of the many characteristics I love about her! :)

God Provides.

This picture was taken one weekend when Daniel came to visit me at UNF. Being poor college students, this was our dinner: Sandwiches, fruit cups, mac n' cheese, and pretzels and cream cheese. That's a pretty good meal for then. Hahaha. We were sitting on the floor of my dorm and having a blast. My favorite thing about this, is while we were sitting there we talked about how if we had to eat ramen noodles on the floor when we got married, so be it! Seriously, as long as we have each other, we will be happy. We have been so blessed to not have every meal microwaved since I've moved here! Hahaha. I've actually been able to practice a lot of cooking! :) It is so cool to look back on our lives and see how God has blessed us, paved the way for us, and how he continues to do so. We are so excited to see what God has yet to do in our lives!! I know He has big plans. Opportunities are waiting. Doors are opening. We just can't wait to officially start our life together as one. Life is good. ;)

LESS THAN 11 MONTHS!!!!

Ride Home!

What a wonderful weekend; two families became one. A wonderful Godly joining of two! So excited for Mr. And Mrs. Carlos Ramirez! Welcome to the family Amanda!

Today was our long travel home. We stopped at South of the Border on the way home for breakfast! There was a cute little diner there! Then we took pictures with a few of the funny statues they have there. Most of the drive Tori and I just slept but when we got home, we were tired... Which doesn't make physiological sense in my mind, but I'm not a physiologist. Now we're back to Orlando in our little apartments. It's always fun to travel and see places, but it's always good to get back home! Well, two days of work this week... Which is pretty good!

The picture is from St. Augustine! :)

Hope everyone has a safe fourth of July holiday! God bless!
