Wednesday Shwednesday.

Yeah, so... As you all already know... Wednesday is the long day for me. So, that was pretty much our day... Classes and schoolwork. The usual. But, after classes we went grocery shopping! Grocery shopping isn't my favorite thing in the world, but Daniel and I manage to still have a good time. After, we made chilli! Since it's perfect for cold weather! It was yummy. We watched some LOST and the sermon from church we missed this past week. We were both SUPER tired tonight. So much that we couldn't even think of doing any schoolwork tonight. Pretty burnt out, I'd say. Luckily, Daniel and I are certainly being able to see a light at the end of the tunnel for this semester! Only like a month left! Which is pretty crazy... And making me feel like holy moly, I HAVE SO MUCH TO DO!

I'm reeeeeaaaally looking forward to our Thanksgiving and Christmas breaks. I'm hoping to get a lot of wedding stuff done. So, those should be more exciting posts. As far as Save the Dates go, it's been fairly disappointing... We worked so hard making our own... but it turns out that our printing options just aren't up to standards. So, we have to scratch out the hard work and use a pre-made template (which was the original plan). But that's ok! Maybe, I'll have Daniel post what we made just so you can see it anyways! Hahaha.

Good Morning Sunshine!

Yesterday was great! Even though I did do homework most of the day, at least I had Tori sitting next to me the whole time! Tori was able to do some wedding research while I was doing homework, which is also productive! In the evening, like every Tuesday night, Tori and I went to the Evan's house for the Real Marriage small group. But, this week Tori's roommate came with us! We were happy to hear that she had a good time! Though the subject matter was fairly heavy, John did a great job of keeping it lighter and keeping everyone feeling comfortable. After saying goodnight and heading to my grandparents, I was able to get a little reading in about personal finances; it is exciting to think about having a financial plan and goals for Tori and I! But we don't want to think so much about the future that we forget to enjoy right now! Ah!..... So that was our day! Also the weather was and is great! I hope you all have a wonderful day! Bye!

Oh, Mondays...

Typical Monday of classes... Except Daniel and I each had a class cancelled. Which is nice. Campus was mad crazy today with our the speakers (not gonna mention who because I don't want those advertisements on here!!)... I've been crafting pretty much all day and Daniels been working on school stuff. Also, I think I did alright on my test this morning. After dinner and more craft time and schoolwork time, Daniel and I walked across campus to get his car. We like going on walks together. Then we returned our redbox movie... That we've had for way too long now! Haha. Now it's about that time to say goodnight and go our separate ways... Tomorrow is yet another day full of schoolwork I'm sure! Goodnight all!

Hurdles!

Today Tori and I woke up in Ocala. The weather was beautiful all day and even got cold later on. We had a lot of things to take care of and both got overwhelmed at some point, but all is well and we are doing better now.Tori has a test tomorrow so she is studying like a mad woman at her apartment and getting as prepared as she can! Whereas I am just trying to get caught up and ready for school this week at my place! Even though it was another busy day Tori and I had a great time spending time together! We are so very close to getting the Save the Dates completed but we keep running into hurdles! Anyways, it was so wonderful to see our families this weekend and to spend good quality time with them together! :) everyone have a great day! Bye!

Saturdayyy

So, Saturday morning we woke up and ate breakfast that mom made for us all at my grandparents. Then we got ready and went to a house that my uncle was renting for the weekend for his family to stay in. Lots of my family came by, we watched some football, played with the millions of babies (haha) and even had a little worship session. Also, we ate way too much. In fact we have been eating horribly this weekend! Hahaha. After hanging out with family for a while, it was time for us to go to Ocala. Daniel and I had a GREAT drive home. The whole way we had the music blasting and the windows down. We had so much fun. When we got here we had pizza, did our thousand loads of laundry and watched The Avengers, all with Daniel's family. It was nice to spend some quality time with them!

Funeral with Family.

Friday Tori and I drove from Orlando to Clearwater to attend the memorial service for Bethany. It was very sad and a mournful time but everyone was trying to be strong for her husband, her parents, and her brothers. After the viewing we drove to the church for the service and then to the place where she was laid to rest. At the service, everyone tried to make it more of a celebration of her life than simply a mourn for her death, although it wasn't easy for anyone. As people went on stage to speak about the life Bethany had, there was laughter and there were tears. I had never had the privilege of meeting her but she seemed to have been quite the person. After the service and the burial, all the family went back to Bethany's parents house for dinner and fellowship. Later we went to sleep at Tori's grandparents house along with her parents and her brother and sister, Jason and Nichole.

Date Night 2!

Yeah, so tonight was date night number 2! However, during the day Daniel went to Melbourne to talk to people at FIT about grad school and I went to Rachel's classroom to observe her first graders! So fun! When I returned, Daniel and I spent some quality time together and then he went to class. While he was there I cleaned up, made dinner and got everything ready for our second date night. Today is the actual day of importance. Today marks 2 years of being together, which is awesome. AND today marks 7 months until the BIG DAY! Which is also awesome! We had soup for dinner. Yum. And for dessert we made cookie brownies! SO. GOOD. We also watched the movie "The Pirates!" which was pretty enjoyable, I must say. Now, Daniel has already left and I am preparing for the long day tomorrow: packing, gettin' pretty... You know... Haha. Well, hope you all have a great night and day tomorrow! :)

Date Night 1

So today was another one of those long school days for the most part. I had a 12 page paper due (which ended up being 19 pages) and I had a test in analog and digital communications. But it wasn't too bad, I've been doing pretty good at not procrastinating so it went smoothly. Afterwards, Tori made us a wonderful dinner to celebrate our two years of being together (which is actually tomorrow.) we are going to have a couple date nights in honor of our anniversary! After dinner we watched a little lost. And after that we read some from the Bible together which was great! It was also really nice to just spend some time together. With the projects and tests I've been having lately we haven't been able to spend as much time together as we would like, but soon we will have much more time! :) well, I hope everyone had a great day! A Heavy Heart.

The title says it all. My heart has been so heavy over the last 24 hours. I woke this morning to hear more bad news. That one of my many adopted brothers, Danny, had also left us. Both much too young. But God has a plan, and he is working through every heartache right now. They both were amazing people and I was so privileged to know them and spend time with them.

Danny could make anyone laugh on the spot. He was always quick with a witty response, and may have left you wondering "Should I really be laughing at that right now?" I won't mention that he still owed us a new couch after New Years a couple years ago...

Bethany's life was a testimony of God in every single aspect. I have always looked up to her as my closest girl cousin for all of my life. She was so beautiful and lit up a room every time she entered. She always had a joyful spirit, and everyone could tell why. Bethany certainly fought the good fight and was so strong through all of her heart struggles. I'll never forget Grandma Wyns always getting our names mixed up.

Please continue to keep my family in your prayers. It is much appreciated.

We went to the Evans tonight again for small group, which was great. Daniel and I got to do some worship for the group, so that was fun. After, we had some really constructive vision casting for FCA at UCF this year. Really excited for what God has in store for UCF. The fire is lit.

The picture is of the flowers Daniel picked for me from the various plants in campus yesterday. It was so sweet and thoughtful.

Last thought for the night, is just love unconditionally. Always remember that there is too much unknown to not cherish those dearest to your heart. It blessed me so much today how much family and friends were quick just to check on me and love on me. Thankful heart tonight. Good night everyone!

Sad Day.

Hello everyone. Not much to say today. We had a bit of a rough evening after hearing that one of Tori's cousins, Bethany, passed away. We are very sad for the loss and grieve with those who loved her and were close. Please take a moment to pray for all of Bethany's family and friends who loved her dearly. Sunday!

This morning I woke up early for band practice and then had church! It was great! After, Daniel and I had lunch at my apartment, we did homework for a bit and then headed to the Florida Mall. I bought some earrings that are potential for the big day, but I'm already second guessing them! Hahaha. Anyways, we came back to the apartment after dinner at Panera and then watched Monsters Inc. while we worked on the save the dates... That still aren't done.

School Project!

Soooo... Yesterday I worked on a school project all day. Tori met up with me around 2 and brought lunch (we had a late breakfast, but that was tasty too. I made it!). Then, while I was working on my project, Tori did some lots of reading for government! Then we had dinner, which we kinda made together. It was delicious! Capreses! The last thing we did for the day was go to the Evans to watch UCF play an away football game! We won! Then we went to Tori's for a little before we said goodnight... Also, I don't know what they look like yet, but Tori may have found some shoes she's gonna wear for the wedding! Which is a big deal! Hopefully we will be able to go get them soon, but I'm not looking at them till the day! Anyways, that was our Saturday! :)

Friday= Date night!

Friday, you know, the usual classes... Daniel only had one class though. So that was nice for him. He was able to get some work done! When I got back we did a little grocery shopping and I made some yummy dinner (pictured above and with the help of my lovely Daniel!). We then got ready and went to the mall at Millenia! We just walked around, separating here and there so I could look at potential wedding shoes! No luck there, so, still on the hunt! When we left we grabbed some milkshakes from Steak n' Shake and relaxed for the rest of the night! Life is good! Weekend of homework ahead, but that's ok! I might be able to get some wedding crafts in somewhere in there... And tomorrow, we are determined to finish these Save the Dates! Hahaha.

Full of Crazy!

Thursday was full of crazy! I had a Thermofluids test Friday so there wasn't much time for anything outside of homework. Sorry to post about pretty much nothing. Also, we ordered pizza from a pizza place! (I'm not gonna say where from because then we'll get advertisements of pizza! Haha) just know it was good! Wednesdayyyyy

Here is what Wednesday looks like:

I got to sleep in! Kind of! YAY! (My class was cancelled for the second time this week.) I still had a meeting with one of my professors though. Hey, any sleeping in is better than none! Haha. Anyways, the normal classes all day... Also, I got a decent grade on my second Bio test; so that's good! Daniel, Ashley and I had turkey burgers for dinner... Yum. 

Daniel has been super swamped with school work, and I am kind of the opposite right now... I think we're both getting pretty burnt out... But... Next weekend is an important weekend, so hopefully we can have a nice little break.

Honeymoon!!

Soooo I am going to talk about Tuesday! It was busy and fun and then we went to the Evans for our real marriage small group! Somewhere in there though, I called Michele. Michele is a travel agent, Michele is in charge of our honeymoon, and so we officially booked our honeymoon! Woohoo! Down payment is down! We are going on a cruise which is so exciting! I'm not gonna say where we are going because what if one of you is a creeper?? But anyways, that was a really big check off of our wedding to do list! :) Tori and I have officially switched spots as far as school work load goes. I have a gazillion things to do and she...well doesn't. But she still has things to do, so that's good! Anyways, we are staying busy and excited all at the same time! The wedding is sneaking up! Yay!

Hellooooo

So, Daniel and I have been getting kind of lazy on the blog. Hahaha. Sorry about that. School has been crazy and wearing us out!

Yesterday was classes all day and then Daniel and I went to the study room down the hall to work on school stuff... Of course.

We went back to my apartment made some soup for dinner, ate it, worked on more school... And that was pretty much it.

Of course, somewhere in there was a LOST break, as well as a devo.

But hey, I've got good news! Daniel and I should be booking our honeymoon this week! Eeee! AND Daniel received a phone call yesterday and it is looking more and more like we will be moving to the Melbourne area when we get married!

Sunday Funday!

Yesterday was a great day! You know it's a good day when it ends ith lots of laughter! ;)

Tori and I went to church in the morning first thing! Our main pastor is with many from our church on a missions trip to Brazil (pray for them)! So in his abscence, a another stepped in and gave the lesson. It was interesting! He talked about finances, and how we should not allow ourselves to be in bondage to it. He also gave a few interesting comments that I can see as being beneficial in our future! After church we went out to lunch with some friends from church and that was great. Friends are good. After that we went and finished registering for kitchen supplies at Target!! Woohoo! Registering is so much fun! For real though, thinking about using those things in our place! So great! After completing the kitchen registry, we decided to go ahead and rest the rest of the day. So we finished season 3 of LOST, which was just two episodes. Then we went and got food for the week, came home and heated a pizza, and watched a video called "Beware of Christians" which was pretty interesting! Then Tori just started laughing about everything and anything! :) then we said goodnight!

Side note, please be praying for Tori's Grandmother. Thank you.

Long Live King Rupert!

Ok, so yesterday, my beloved fish, Rupert, died. Pretty sad. He's was just 12 days short of his first birthday. That's not the best start to a day, but yesterday was still a pretty decent day.

Daniel and I had eggs and bacon for breakfast. I love when Daniel makes breakfast! And then we did homework all day! With a LOST break somewhere in there! After we had enough of homework, we decided to have a little date night! We grabbed some dinner and then went to Michael's to get some wedding crafts! After, we settled down with an episode of LOST. Again. I know that it seems like we're obsessed with it, but really it's a nice 45 minute break from the chaos and business of the day. A time where we don't worry about school or wedding stuff but just take a breather. It's good to do, try it! Not necessarily LOST, but just something that gives your mind a break during the day (not like LOST let's you do that anyways...)

Babysitting!

Even though the title is babysitting, don't be deceived, this is Daniel writing! Yesterday, after a long day of school work, Tori and I rushed over to the Evans house to babysit their five kids. I can tell you that after Tori and I get married we are not necessarily going to be in a rush to have kids, but when we do, I am going to be so excited! It's so easy for kids to think you are the coolest person alive, or Superman. And all you have to do is pick them up and spin them in a circle, or play catch in the backyard, or chase them around with a lightsaber (not a real one of course). Yeah we certainly had a great time! Plus we got pizza! Yum. And then after they ran around for like twelve years non stop, they all settled down to watch a movie until their dad got home, then it was time for bed. At one point, when we were standing in the back yard watching them all run around and be crazy, another dad with a little girl stopped by to let her have a little kid and kid interaction. She was three, and the youngest was three, so it worked out well. It's great how accepting kids are! Then, the dad turned to Tori and me and asked if they were all ours! haha. Nope. After thinking a bit about it. The oldest is eleven, making her eight years younger than Tori... But I guess some people look younger than they are so we'll give him the benefit of the doubt. He was a nice guy though! Anyways, that was our babysitting experience yesterday! I hope you all are having a great day!

Thursday!

Today I slept in super duper late!! I guess I was really tired... When I got up I did a little bit of exercising and then made breakfast and drank my coffee. I love to sit and relax and drink my coffee in the morning! When Daniel got here we just talked and eventually went downstairs and outside with my roommate, Ashley! There, we studied in the beautiful weather! When it got too hot Daniel and I got some jimmy johns because they were suppose to be $1 subs... But they weren't. Bummer. We went back to my apartment, ate, and then went to the all knight study to work on homework! Daniel left for class while I kept working, and eventually I went back to the apartment to continue working and to make coffee for Daniel's senior design group for their meeting they were having! I finally finished my work and we ate cupcakes! And then watched LOST! That's it for today! Excited for the weekend!

Beautiful Weather!

I don't know where in the world you live, but today, in Florida, it was beautiful! At one point it was 76 degrees (Fahrenheit) and sunny! Because of this, Tori's and my long walks to class seemed a little more bearable and even leaned more towards enjoyable! After our classes, we decided that we would got to Firehouse Subs for dinner since I found a ten dollar bill on the ground today! I would have returned it, but I don't know who dropped it... Also, I got a UCF College of Engineering and Computer Science polo today, but it's too big so I am going to return it. But I like it and so I'm excited to have the right size!

On another note, I have started accruing addresses for save the dates! It's exciting to see check marks flying up next to all the people we have listed! Of course, not everyone on the list has sent there address and I haven't even contacted everyone I need to yet, but it's still exciting! I've also been working on personalizing the perfect design for Tori, which is going well so far! It's definitely better than using a template for us! We like having a little more freedom than that! Flowers!!

Hey! So today we awoke in Ocala, got ready, Maggie came over, and we headed to the florist! Where we also met my mother! It was fun picking out flowers, but was kind of difficult to use so much imagination for what things will look like! I'm really excited though! I really think that they're going to turn out beautifully!

After the florist, Daniel and I had lunch with Daniel's mom. We went to Primary Oven. It was so good!! We then packed up and headed back to Orlando! When we got here I got started baking! For our group tonight, the ladies were suppose to bring snacks... So, I baked Boston cream cupcakes! I must say, they were a hit! I am loving our group, it has really been nice to meet some great people!

The picture is of my biology notes. Basically, according to my calculations, there is a good chance that Daniel and I will have children with dimples and cleft chins. Hahahaha.

Ocala!

Yesterday, after classes Tori and I went to Ocala! It felt nice to be home for the short time we were. Right when we got there, Tori's dad had some food out and ready to be heated up! Which was really nice! Plus it was very good! As we ate dinner, I had a good talk with Tori's dad about hers and my future plans and the direction we are heading and that's always fun for me to talk about! After that we went to the mall to get Tori's ring cleaned as part of the protection plan! It always has an extra nice sparkle after that! After ring cleaning we went and visited my parents! And I had a great talk with my dad about a bunch of random but important stuff! Then of course also had a good talk with my mom! Last we went back to Tori's where we said goodnight and went our separate ways for the night... Can't wait to not have to do that anymore! Haha well I hope you all has a great day today! Goodnight!

Hello All!

Here's the scoop on today... Daniel picked my up for band practice and then we had church! We're in a new series called Kingdom, which I'm already liking! After church, we went to Daniel's grandparent's for a family gathering! I just love Daniel's family, I am so blessed with great soon-to-be family! We had lunch and just talked and talked... Now, Daniel and I are back at my apartment, working on Save the Dates and I'm looking at wedding stuff... Which pretty much means I'm on Pinterest. And that's about it for our day.

Tomorrow, after classes we are headed to Ocala and Tuesday we will meet with the florist! Yay! Also, I'm excited to see my parents!

Today!

Today was nice because it was fairly laid back. My room was in serious need for a cleaning so all day we were at my grandparents house as I cleaned my room. Generally it wouldn't take so long to do but since we were in chill mode I wasn't in a hurry. Tori did homework for a little less than half the time and spent the rest working on wedding stuff! She was having a good time relaxing, as was I! After cleaning most of the day, we decided to eat some pizza, finish up cleaning, and chill even more. So we went back to her dorm for about an hour and a half and watched ____ . I'll let you figure out what that blank is! I'm assuming you've caught onto the Lost trend. Then it was goodnight time! We are excited for tomorrow because my family is getting together in Orlando and it will be good to see them all! Well, have a great night everyone!

Yesterday!

Yesterday was quite eventful! Classes, homework, babysitting, helping out at church, lab.....it was full of events. But, after all that jazz, I snuck a little suprise date night out for Tori to look at puppies and have a little sweety! When looking at puppies a lady, who worked there, asked us if we would like to play with one, and of course Tori wanted to so we did, cause I love her! Unfortunately I chose which dog out of the two she wanted to play with and the one I chose was crazy! But it was cute! Haha. Then we went to Sweets by Holly, a dessert place. Tori got frozen yogurt, I got a cupcake! Yummmmyyyy!!! Best part is, with a coupon it was less than 3 dollars!! Then we went back and watched lost before saying goodnight! That was yesterday!

PINK Knight!

Today started with a nice trip to the gym! We worked pretty hard! Hahaha. Anyways, we came back to my apartment and had a little coffee and breakfast and started on homework... We had lunch, took a LOST break, more homework, made dinner, ate dinner, did a devo... you know... and then got ready and went to the game! Woohoo! It was "PINK Knight" in honor of breast cancer awareness (my pink bow in my hair). The game was soooo much fun, of course, especially when we score. The energy in the stadium in awesome, I love it. We had to leave early to finish homework, but hey, as of right now we are winning! I love my school, that's for sure.

I can't wait to get some wedding planning done this weekend! Hopefully get Save-the-Dates done and maybe buy some things for crafts to make! Also, coming up is booking our honeymoon and talking to florists (Tuesday!).

Long Day Wednesday!

As you probably know, Wednesdays are the busy days. I had class all day, including a group presentation in my education class. It went really well and was directed towards teaching a kindergarten class how to be accepting of differences. For a hands on activity, we used tangerines to show how different we can all be on the outside but when you peel it, they all look the same on the inside. It was fun, even though some people cheated in our little game! College students... Hahaha.

After classes, I think Daniel and I were pretty burnt out with school stuff. So, of course, we watched some LOST, did a devo, I showed Daniel what I've pinned recently for the wedding, we talked wedding stuff, and ate dinner (pictured below).

Speaking of Pinterest, my account is a total mess. I have so many different wedding boards to try and keep my head all together!! Haha.

Overall, it was nice to have quality time with my best friend tonight without worrying about school. Good night all!

Yesterday was Tuesday. Today, is Wednesday.

Hello everyone! I am going to talk to you about Tuesday!

Yesterday was LONG! Literally lots of hours. Plus Tori and I went jogging and I hadn't gone jogging in a while! So waking up at 6:00 to make it to a 7:00 bible study on campus and then not going to bed until after 12:00 midnight was really tiring. But it was still a great day. Every Tuesday I begin and end the day with John Evans, who is the pastor marrying Tori and I. He leads the bible study that I go to in the morning as well as the small group Tori and I go to at night. He's a great man and a wonderful encourager to both of us. This makes Tuesday a big encouragement! After bible study in the morning was when Tori and I went for a jog, then it took a while to get in because Tori had accidentally locked the key in the room! Which just added a little more humor to the day! Once we got everything taken care of and got in, I made us breakfast while Tori freshened up after the jog and got started on homework. Eggs and muffins were on the menu and, if I do say so myself, they were pretty good. (of course all I had to do was follow the instructions on the packaging of the muffins) After a few hours of homework, it was lunch time. Then after another couple of hours of homework it was time for me to go meet with someone before going to class before coming back to Tori's apartment! Then it was frozen pizza (don't worry, it was as healthy of frozen pizza as you can probably purchase, organic and all) before going to the Evan's for small groups. We ended up staying 2 hours after everyone else had left, just talking about life and stuff! Once we left and got to Tori's apartment, we realized we had a few good things that we should talk about briefly, so we did. And then I said goodnight, and then we left! I didn't realize how eventful yesterday was until just now! Hope you all had a great day! BYE!

Mondayyy!

So, yesterday was Monday... And I was way too tired to write the blog. Hahaha. Yesterday was the usual school all day kind of day... After school we went grocery shopping! However, after grocery shopping we had a little argument, I hate using that word though, it sounds so awful (we like to say kerfuffle). If fact, I wouldn't even call it an argument, actually. I'm mentioning this because I want this blog to be real and testimonial. It was great later on to look back and see how we were able to still communicate well without blowing things out of proportion. I'm glad that we've had such great counsel everywhere to be able to work things out. The fact that later on we could laugh and talk with each other like it never happened is a blessing. God is great. We ended the night with watching LOST, cuddling and eating a cupcake. Yep. Sometime in between there my roommate, Ashley, came in my room with an early wedding gift (pictured above). It was one of the sweetest moments ever. We are so blessed with so many great people around us. Hopefully, this weekend we can get some more planning done! Have a great day!
