Night time!

Yesterday was Christmas with Daniel's family! It was so great! We got a lot of things for our apartment, which is very exiting!! We did a lot of relaxing and at night time we went to Daniel's grandparents to do Secret Santa with the extended family! Daniel and I are so happy and thankful for our gifts!! It was definitely a great Christmas with our families. It's crazy to think that next Christmas I'll have a husband and I'll be celebrating with him!

Words and Sky View!

Daniel and I have been doing a lot of relaxing the past couple days! It has been so nice! In the midst we've gotten more craft stuff, gone for a walk and planned our rehearsal dinner!

We also went to an antique shop and watched movies... And of course, some HGTV. Hahaha.

The pictures are words and sky view. So there is a nice picture of the sky on one of our outings and some words I saw on Pinterest that I really just love. So, yep! Sorry we have had some trouble with the blogs uploading...

Christmas Day!

The title for the post picture today is morning, so Tori will be uploading a video of her dog opening one of his Christmas presents Christmas morning! Haha

Christmas was great this year! We were able to spend time with both Tori's and my family! The morning was sent with Tori's family where we ate breakfast and had a secret Santa gift exchange! The food was wonderful and is was nice to see all the heartfelt gift everyone gave! After that, we got ready and headed to Orlando to have lunch with the Orlando fam, my dads side! Once again the food was great and the atmosphere of family is always wonderful! Family and love made this a great Christmas!

Grateful!

So again, not really a picture that we had that captured what we were grateful for, but I was grateful that my brother and his wife, Amanda, made it to Ocala safe and sound even though the weather was terrible! They arrived around six, just in time for dinner and my mom had whipped up an amazing meal with turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, and green beans! I haven't seen my brother for about six months so it was good to see him and Amanda happy! So that's what I was grateful for! :)

Tori wanted to add the photos of the crazy house I had mentioned in the lights post! So added they were! I hope you enjoy them!!

Favorite Part of Christmas Eve!

We didn't do a whole lot for Christmas Eve... We did do a little Christmas shopping, wrapping, and card making! Which was fun! We did watch Elf, which is one of my favorites!

Scarf!

The picture of the day was scarf! So here's Daniel and I in scarves! We're pretty cute! Sunday was a great day! Daniel and I helped with worship at our church in Orlando! It went really well! And to top it off... Daniel's parents and my parents came to our second service! It was so nice for them to see our church home!

Afterwards, we went out to lunch to Jimmy Hula's! It was delicious and a great experience! It is seriously such a beautiful thing to see our parents together, laughing and joking with the least bit of awkwardness or tension or anything! It's so incredible. I am so very thankful for great parents and soon to be in-laws!!

Tradition!...

So, as you can see, we do not have a picture for tradition. We cannot think of any outstanding traditions that either of our families have for Christmas time. Aside from the joy of spending time with family and trying to mesh everyone's schedule, there are few concretes. But I will explain the few anyways... For Tori's family, her and her siblings each have ornaments that they put on the tree, and they always listen to Mariah Carey's Christmas CD! My family always puts up the Christmas decorations the day after thanksgiving, the day before we open gifts (usually not Christmas eve) we have a Christmas movie marathon that continues till the last person falls asleep, and we always have a Christmas dinner/lunch at my grandmothers house! Next year, however, there will be quite the shift from these traditions and concretes since Tori and I will be married and starting our own traditions! Well I hope you all have a great Christmas!!

Fake Snow and Fun!

Yesterday, I had a doctors appointment and then my mom and I ran some errands! Including, making some additions to our wedding flowers! We spent the rest of the night hanging out with Daniel's sisters! We ordered pizzas, watched Santa Clause 2, went downtown to see fake snow, made cookies and watched another movie! It was definitely a fun night!! The picture of the day is Peace, kind of hard to capture... But I'd say the whole evening was pretty peaceful. Also, there is a picture of Daniel's dog, Forest. He's cute.

Tree Topper!

So Thursday, Tori got her hair trimmed! She has been trying so hard to grow her hair out for the wedding. I wouldn't say she's obsessed with her hair, but she certainly is taking it seriously. I'm not sure what all the products she puts in there are for, but they are working! Because she has some nice hair! Haha. Anyways, aside from that, we had some chickfila for lunch and finished a little more Christmas shopping although we are still not finished. And after all that, we kinda just hung out and played some Christmas music to practice for Sunday!

Candy Cane!

Yesterday, Daniel went to an eye appointment and another appointment with his financial adviser. Both went well! We also went Christmas shopping, almost done!! For dinner we had Tijuana Flats! It was soooo good! As far as wedding goes, we picked out invites! I ordered some samples in the mail and we decided which one we liked best! I'm soooo excited! They're so unique and cute! I can't wait to order them!!

Stockings!

These are stockings at Tori's parents house as well as mine! It's a cool picture of how both of our families have been so accepting. Tori has a stocking at my parent's house and I have one at hers!

Yesterday, we had another cake testing, banana, yum!!! We made some "final" decisions for the cake and flavors. Which is awesome! Then we watched the second and third Lord of the Rings movies! Finally, my sister, Sophia, made Tori and me some yummy dinner! It was very tasty and we were blessed to have it! :) so that was our stocking day! Sleep well!

THE Dress! And Presents!

Yesterday was such a wonderful day! I had the privilege of going to Orlando with my mother, maid of honor and two of my bridesmaids to try on my dress for the very first time! However, there was a little bit of confusion with the appointment, so it wasn't really a fitting.... More like a try-on. Hahaha. But hey, it was still so nice to put on MY dress for the very first time! How incredible! I'm soooo excited! 

After, the try-on we went out to lunch to Panera and then walked around Lake Eola in downtown Orlando. It was such a beautiful and dun day! And yes, that's adorable Brooke falling asleep on the way home. Hahaha. Also, Maggie did a great job parallel parking... She's a pro. (Pictured below)

When we got back, Maggie and I did a little Christmas shopping and craft shopping! I got more crafts for the wedding! Yay! I also got Daniel's gift, which is convenient for yesterday's picture of the day! The picture below is his present as well as another present for someone, but I cannot say who. (My family drew names this year for Christmas!)

CHRISTMAS LIGHTS!

This was a house close to mine! Tori and I went to my cousins house last night to bake some goodies and on the way to Tori's parent's house, we found the house above! It was pretty, so Tori took a picture of it! There is an even crazier house, which is even closer to my house, but it's lights weren't lit by the time we got there! But this one is still pretty! :)

Before going to my cousins house to bake, we had a cake testing for the wedding cake! And it was really tasty! I ate a lot of cake, then went to my cousins to bake, too many sweets! Above is a photo of us while taste testing at Tori's house. Below is a "ginger bread" chocolate house we made at my cousins! haha, Yesterday was fun! :)

Favorite Holiday Song!

So, yesterday wasn't too busy! I was on the search for something for my dress though. And Daniel got a haircut! We also went to Orlando for a bit for Daniel's cousin's birthday party! Yay! Well, I'm not going to give you a photo for yesterday but rather the videos of our favorite holiday song! Yeah, it's the same song, but two different versions! We're hoping to do a cover of a mixture of the two sometime....

 

Trees!

Tori decided to put together three Christmas tree pictures together from throughout our day! One from her parents, one from my parents, and one from downtown Ocala! Also, yesterday Tori and I found out that we got straight A's for this semester!! Well, I got an A- but that's straight A's still! Haha. So we went out and celebrated with my dad! My sisters were busy so that's why they didn't make it. But we went to Harry's in downtown Ocala for dinner and watched MIB3 at my house! Needless to say, it was a pretty good day! December 13th: Family

Hi everyone! Yesterday, we had breakfast at Daniels and watched The Beauty and the Beast Christmas movie! After we went back to my house to relax, eat lunch watch another movie and make wedding crafts! I made a couple of props for our photo booth! Hooray!

After relaxing all day we went to get our Crossfit on with my mom! It was fun! And we're definitely feeling sore this morning! We picked up some Sonny's on the way home and it was so good! Haha. We finished off the night by watching some HGTV. We've been doing a lot of that lately. Definitely has given us good ideas for our future home!! It's been so nice relaxing lately! Also, my mom bought me some peppermint kisses. Which is great, because they're one of my favorites! Have a good day everyone!

December 12: A Beautiful Sight!

Yesterday Tori and I, accompanied by my sister Sophia, went on a nice long bike ride! Which I love to do to look at the beautiful architecture and landscape of homes! We totaled somewhere between 8 and 9 miles which isn't bad considering we don't bike ride too often! So that was our beautiful site! The weather hasn't been that great lately, but the ride was still nice! After the bike ride we just relaxed, well I relaxed, Tori cleaned her room like a mad woman and then relaxed! And then we watched the newest in the Bourne series with her family! It really leaves you hanging!! Haha well I hope you all have a wonderful day!! God bless!

December 11th: Green

Yesterday was green, and we watched The Grinch! Appropriate, I think so! We both slept in super late yesterday, which isn't like us! But, when we got up and moving, we went Christmas shopping for our families! I know Daniel mentioned that already! Anyways, after, Daniel and I went back to his house for dinner! My maid of honor, Maggie, came over to eat brownies and ice cream! And watch The Grinch! It was a great time! :)

Wrapping Paper!

So this picture is wrapping paper! And we took it as we are Christmas shopping for family at Kohl's! I can't believe Christmas is only two weeks from now! Wholly smokes! Thats right around the corner!... Yesterday Tori and I finished the Lost series! So you won't hear us talk about that anymore... Haha it's so nice being in Ocala with family at this time of the year. Both of our parents did so good with their decorations! Such pretty trees! Now it's all Christmas music and movies till the twenty fifth! I hope you are all as excited about Christmas as we are! December 9th: Something We're Reading

We've been reading Love & Respect for quite a while, but it's been put on hold with school being so crazy. We're planning on finishing it over our break! We would definitely recommend it to any couple, it's great! And simple!

Yesterday was nice! After church we packed up and headed to Ocala! We spent some quality time with Daniel's family, ate, watched Santa Clause and ate cookies! Daniel and I were exhausted after, it had been a long day! Hope you all are having a good Monday!

Apartments and a Christmas Ornament.

Hello everyone!! Today was a very exciting day because today Tori and I went apartment hunting! So first off, we know it's still a ways away but we figured we would get a head start so we don't have to worry over the Spring semester. We have officially narrowed our choices, currently, to three choices. I could tell you all the names but they would be abstract and meaningless since you've never seen them! Just know that they are all beautiful, friendly, and convenient! Aside from apartments, we ate lunch at downtown Melbourne with a friend of mine from work, we checked out the avenue shopping center in Viera, and we went to the Cove in Port Canaveral! After a wonderful day in the Viera/Melbourne area, we drove back to Orlando where we found the first ornaments for our tree next year!! :) which goes perfect with the photo title for the day, which is ornament! Haha good night everybody!

Bright!

Yesterday was "Bright"! So, here is a Ferris wheel we passed at a carnival at Waterford. It was bright! Haha.

Yesterday, was also the finish of the semester! I took my last final, got some Chick-fil-a, and then Daniel and I had a little date night! Or day! Haha. We first went to a Fiat dealership, just to look! Then we looked at puppies, just to look! Hahaha. We also went to target and I got little Christmas candies for my roommates! Then, we went to dinner at Designer Greens! (One of our favorites! We went back to my apartment and watched Arthur Christmas! I loved it! It was so cute!! Have a great weekend y'all!!

Shopping?

So today's picture is of us shopping... So this is it.

Unfortunately you are staring at an empty mall. Due to the high demands of school, specifically this week due to finals, we haven't really had the opportunity to go shopping lately! But, we plan on Christmas shopping on Saturday in Viera (which is when we will also be looking at potential apartments for May!) But as for now, no fun shopping adventures to talk about on this December 6th. But we did have a good day! And I hope you all did too! Goodnight!

Todays Temperature!

  

So the photo for today is the temperature; there it is! It was a pleasant day, weather and sentiment. I had two finals this morning with 10 minutes between them, which would cause the majority of the population a little bit of stress, but not me! I had a lot! Haha I think anxious is a better word though, anticipating the grand finally of the sum total of all this semesters hard work. Tori is no exception to hard work. She has done such a good job this semester with classes and putting up with me! About half way through the semester I explained to her how much work I had for the rest of the semester and how I was beginning to get overwhelmed. She asked what she could do to help and I just asked that she be patient with me. She has done such a wonderful job at that, which has definitely helped me, as her heart wanted! So of course, because of her exceptional patience throughout the second half of this semester, it was time for a celebration!

Tori and I have been waiting for this icecream to come out for over a week and I have been telling her about it since July!! It is called Christmas Cookies and is made by BlueBell! So yummy! Throughout the past week we have driven periodically between three grocery stores in search and finally, the search was over today! So I present the half gallon tub of icecream for all to see! December 3rd: Red

This book is red. This is a book Daniel recently finished reading about companies who went from good companies to great companies. The book had taught Daniel a lot about leadership for the home and the workplace. He would definitely recommend the book, so put it on your reading list!

Favorite Holiday Movie!

Sorry we weren't able to take an actual picture for December 2nd. But we've decided that our favorite holiday movie is The Grinch. This was pretty difficult for us, because we really like Christmas movies, including all the Santa Claus ones, The Polar Express, The classics, Elf, Home Alone.... The list could go on and on!

Tori's Dress' Whereabouts!

Well, I hope you all have been doing good! Tori and I have of course been hard at work, but we can see the light at the end of the tunnel with finals starting this coming weekend! But, in the midst of the madness, we have decided to post a rather important wedding update as well as share a couple things! 

As for the wedding update... Tori's dress has arrived in Orlando! 

She was so excited when she got the email that she scared me at first! Haha but after understanding what was going on I got super excited too! She has scheduled a fitting so now she just has to make sure she has all the accessories needed before the fitting! We are really gonna do it!!! :)

  

This month, Tori and I are going to try our best to take a picture a day (from the list)! So, today was 1. And it was your view. So, here is the pretty sweet view of our coffee we got from Barnie's! Haha
