As you already know, the semester is finally wrapping up. Which means intense studying, paper writing etc. Haha. This us our last normal week before finals. So be praying for us! I turned in one of my final papers yesterday and did a presentation on it. I was so nervous, because I hate public speaking things. But I thought I did pretty well! Today I will go back to Rachel's classroom for my last bit of service learning! Yay! Also, last night we went to the Evans for our last relationship series get together! Everyone wore Christmas sweaters and pajamas, I wore my penguin onesie of course. We listened to Christmas music, ate lots of food and watched Christmas movies! Hope you all are having a good week!
P.S. We've hit the 6 month mark! Oh my goodness! This is like for real. ;)

Thanksgiving Weekend!
So, I don't know how your thanksgiving day looks, but ours was pretty amazing....
Tori and I ran our first 5k together and did pretty well! We had to be there at 7:00 a.m. which meant we had to wake up early! But it was a great way to start thanksgiving day! All of Tori's family ran; Her mom, her dad, her brother Ben, her brother Jason, and his wife! My mom and sister also ran it! So it was a fun and exciting time to get together. My sister smoked my time... but that doesn't matter I guess... Then we wen't to Tori's and freshened up. (P.S. She was beautiful! Of course, she always is.) It was nice to spend some time with all of her family, but then we had to head to my parents, where we ate and hung out!
At the table, there was a lot of laughter and happiness as all of my mothers side of the family was there to enjoy this family time! Also, my cousin and I made a tower out of napkin holders and a knife, no big deal. After we finished eating turkey, mashed potatoes, sweet potato casserole, stuffing, green bean casserole, and corn stuff, we headed to Tori's for food... When we got to Tori's parents, everyone was excited to see us, mostly cause that meant they could eat! haha But it was good to see them too. Then we sat down, prayed and gave thanks, and ate! We ate a lot of the same stuff, which was delicious all over again, but it was all slightly different as recipes do differ from cook to cook, in case you didn't know that. The most noteworthy difference was the stuffing. My mother made a homemade stuffing that was sort of sweet with dried cranberries and a light vinaigrette, where as Tori's mom makes it a little more spicy with sausage! Mmmmm! I used to hate stuffing, but both of these are simply amazing!
After eating dinner, it was time to divvy up the christmas lists! So, we all put our names, and three gift ideas, onto a piece of paper, folded them up and put them in a hat to draw. After multiple tries, we finally all didn't get ourselves and so we were good.
Then we headed to my house again to watch Charlie Brown Thanksgiving. Which is cute! All the youngins, including my Aunt, then played Apples to Apples! Then we said goodbye and headed back to Tori's.
At Tori's we pretty much just did homework to end our Thanksgiving...
Needless to say, it was an exciting and eventful day! I hope you all had a great day! Today, we will be headed to Orlando to celebrate thanksgiving with my fathers side of the family! GOD BLESS! :)

Great Weekend!
We had a great weekend in Ocala! Saturday, we had the party for Jason and Nichole, which was good! It was nice to spend time with the family! We ate soooo much this weekend. Ugh. I'll probably feel that in my run tomorrow... After everyone left, we watched the UFC fights, pretty exciting stuff. Today, we hadn't planned on staying but due to my school situations, we stayed and studied. I wish I could have been free to hang out with family and Daniel the whole time we were there this weekend, but I have two tests tomorrow that I am just studying away for. Most of the weekend I was isolated reading, haha. I am thankful for the time I did have with everyone though! However, definitely ready for tomorrow to be over. Well, these tests anyways. Excited for up and coming stuffs! Hope you all had a great weekend!
As far as wedding goes, my wedding shoes have been ordered. Cool stuff.

Thermofluids and Family Time!
Thursday I was studying for a Thermofluids test all day, but it was kinda interesting, so that's good. My cousin, Elmo, who is a high school senior/aspiring engineer, is taking AP physics and he needed some help, so he headed to UCF to meet up with me to get some help. Well, he happened to be studying Q=kA(T_hot-T_cold), which is heat transfer in the form of conduction, and that's what I was studying! Which was interesting, cool, and kind of funny! Tori was studying Government, not heat transfer. Before we called it a night, I made us all some hot chocolate! Then my cousin and I drove back to our neighborhood, after I said goodbye to Tori.
The next day, Friday, Tori and I headed to Ocala! We are going to be celebrating her brother, Jason's, wedding with all her family that couldn't make it all the way to California. Unfortunately, we have to do homework simultaneously, but it's always nice to visit our families! Once we got to Ocala, we spent some time with my parents talking, eating, and watching a movie! Always relaxing to be in a homey environment, can't wait till Tori and I have our own homey environment! :) I hope you all have a great weekend! Bye!
P.S. We are probably going to be posting less in the up and coming weeks, due to finals and wrapping up the semester! But we will try to keep you updated on the important stuff (especially the wedding!)

Light Up UCF!
Hey everyone! Wednesday was of course full of classes, as always. But afterward, we went grocery shopping and then to Light Up UCF! Daniel also surprised me with a new hand made mug some art students were selling! I loooove it! At Light Up UCF, it was a lot of standing in line, since so many people were there, but it was all worth it! They had Christmas lights and were playing Christmas music. It's starting to feel like Christmas is near! We got free t-shirts, rode the ferris wheel and went on a horse carriage ride! I had a lot of fun! It was a nice little break from all the end-of-semester madness. We're gonna save the ice skating for another night though!
It was also really crazy to think that probably the next time we will find ourselves in a horse-drawn carriage will be in 6+ months on our big day! Wow. It is approaching so fast! I am absolutely thrilled and am getting more and more excited with each new day! I mean, look at that countdown! Dwindling down.... Hahaha. I've added some photos from yesterday. Happy Thursday! One week until Thanksgiving!

As the Semester is Wrapping Up...
Yesterday consisted of lots of homework! With finals getting closer and project deadlines creeping up, it's time to buckle down and put our patience caps on! Tori came and met me at my Grandparents yesterday, where we were for most of the day. We took a quick LOST break but quickly got back to the madness. Then we left and headed to Tori's apartment where she got ready for the basketball game. While she went to the game, I went out to eat with a friend from where I worked this Summer. It was good to see him and have some good conversations with someone who "speaks my language", but I did miss Tori. After dinner my friend suggested that next time we go out that he'll bring his wife and I'll bring my Tori! So that was our day! I'd say, for having so much homework, it was a pretty good day! Hope you all had a great day! Bye!

A Day Off!
Thanks to all those veteran's out there, we had the day off from school on Monday. It takes such sacrifice to do what they do, we are so thankful. Daniel and I took advantage of the day to get a lot of school work done. After hours of that we went running! I felt really good about my pace and distance, so hopefully I will be ready for the Turkey Trot next week! If I keep it up!! Hahaha. We ended the night by going to the small group and an FCA meeting to follow! So excited for what God has in store for our campus! So excited to spend time with family this weekend and next! Hope you all had a great long weekend!! Have a great week!!
