Good Morning Friends!

Happy Weekend! It's been a great week! Pictured above are the orchids Daniel got me for our 2 months of marriage! (Somehow, it didn't make it to last weeks post!) Last Sunday, we went to Luau for our church! It was fun! We loved the opportunity to get to know some more people. Somehow, we even ended up in a hula hoop contest, which was to The Wobble. So obviously, we did the dance while hula hooping... Skill. I won! Hahaha. This week was the usual school and work for us. I had my final exam Thursday, hence the study picture. I ended up getting over 100% as my final grade, which I was pretty excited about!

This week, I did a lot of creative cooking and just made up some random things. Haha. I have enjoyed making so many fun recipes from Pinterest lately, like this Feta and Parmesean Zucchini/Squash bake! It was so yummy! The recipe can be found here!

We also went on a Starbucks date last night and got Frappuccinos! Feels like it has been forever since we have had one! Yum!

I have also been wanting to share the Etsy shops I purchased from for our wedding! I feel like Etsy played a big role on our big day! I love Etsy! I have a lot of friends engaged and such, so I thought I'd share the love! These are just a few things that made our engagement/wedding special and cute! Check them out!

2 Months, Double Date, and Rise Worship!

Well, pretty much we had a great week! We have officially been married for 2 months as of Thursday, pretty exciting! Tori made us an amazing meal as shown below!

Beautiful Meal Provided by My Love Celebrating 2 Months of Marriage!

It was so very delicious! She's such an amazing cook! Thank you pinterest! ;)

We spent Friday with Stephen and Amanda, some friends of ours! We went to the beach, played some board games (The picture below), went out for dinner, and ended the night watching the new Wolverine movie! Which we thought was pretty good! And we had a great time with them!

Scattergories with Steven and Amanda!

For Saturday (today) we went to a sunrise worship that one of our friends, Rett, is heavily involved with. It was really nice to see so many young people getting involved to support human trafficking awareness as well as supporting financially to help as much as they can. We also did a lot of worshipping.

After the service we went out to breakfast at a trendy little breakfast nook in downtown Melbourne!

Here is a little throw back from last week when Tori and I went to D. I. G. for breakfast. We are pretty much regulars now! :)

Blessed!

Hello everyone! I hope that you are all having a wonderful week/weekend so far! For me, sitting in our living room, looking at all these "things" that we have, I've realized that I have a lot to be thankful for. For our back porch with it's modest size and simple view. For our furniture, decor and the ability and time to sit back and enjoy it all. For food always on the table, good health, and date nights to explore the city. For a bed to sleep on, and a roof over our heads. For a job that I love in a wonderful city living with my beautiful, smart, and godly wife. For time together; living, laughing, and loving. For two wonderful families we have grown with and a new church family to grow in. For a God who has been faithful, loving, and has blessed us with all these things that we have to be thankful for. Obviously there are so many more things that could be listed, but I hope that the point is across that we are so humbled and thankful for a God that cares and blesses those who seek after him!

Last Saturday, Tori and I witnessed the union of Stephen and Amanda Hill. It was a beautiful wedding and a wonderful celebration. They have been together since Steven and I were seniors in high school, and it's so great to have seen them grow together for the last 6 years.

We were able to get some pillows to add some color in our living room and were very happy with the result!

Also, we witnessed some amazing God power! Probably the worst lightning storm I have ever seen! I was driving home from work Thursday afternoon and off in the distance I see the largest, most vivid lighting bolts I've ever seen, and they all seemed to be striking right next to our apartment, where Tori was! The closer I got the more affirmation I received that the strikes were right next to the apartment! Once I parked the car, the thunder was audible at the same moment the lightning was visible! We survived so all is well, but it was pretty amazing and scary!

Last thing to talk about, is we've been getting a lot of starbuck's giftcards lately, which has translated to a lot of starbucks breakfast dates! Which are always great! :)

Well, we hope that you have a great week! Take time to realize how blessed you all are! Good bye!

Red, White and Blue!

I hope everyone had a great 4th of July and found some time to relax! We sure did! We started off the day with a nice breakfast we made together and watched a classic. Independence Day. Gotta love aliens and Will Smith. Hahaha.

We spent the rest of the day hanging out, cleaning up, and hanging up more things on our walls!
Daniel also made a wonderful and creative dinner for us!

After dinner, we went to go see a symphony and watch fireworks in Cocoa... But we weren't really prepared... There were TONS of people there, and since we were kind of late, we didn't have a place to sit or anything to sit on! I don't do so well with big crowds and no direction... So we left! The music was beautiful when we did hear it though. We ended up going back to our apartment and watch fireworks from our parking lot and balcony! Then snuggled and watched a show! It was nice!

I will say though, I enjoyed putting together an outfit for the day. Here's a little bit of my get up!

In other news... We saw a really cool rainbow across the horizon this week.

Hope you all have a great weekend!!

A Set of Stories!

So for this week, I decided to simply write a couple stories from our week! We have a couple good ones! :)

Well, the first one is about our new washer and dryer! They are very pretty, but while I was at work, Tori sent me this video, showing me how talented they are. Every time our clothes are done washing, or drying, this happens!

So, there's pretty much nothing that compares to the excitement of getting a wife... but I still am pretty excited about my new iPhone! Target had like 25 good deals going on at once! Making this seemingly expensive purchase a steal! And when I opened the box, I remembered I would have a sticker, so now I started my family tree of apples on the back window! :)

HAHA! This was a funny moment! Tori and I went to the bank today so that she could change her name at the bank... So we're sitting there, ya know... doing paper work and going through the process. When out of no where the lady helping us goes to pick up the phone and gasps! Tori and I look at her and ask if she's okay because she's frozen. She says "do you guys not see it?!" And so, we looked closely next to the phone, and yes, yes we did see the frog! When she had reached for and picked up the phone, it had jumped out from behind it. But after I took care of it and got it outside, things returned to normal! Haha.

Uh oh... Tori found the shoes I was trying to hide in the back of the closet! She sent me this while I was at work!

Not a story here, just my degree in its frame! It's so pretty, thanks mom and dad!

This was Tori getting ready for church this past Sunday, she's cute! Please be praying for us as we go back to a church this Sunday we previously went to, it could be the one! :)

Hope you all had a great week and have a great weekend!

Making a New Home!

Now that we have finished getting married and going on a honeymoon and such, it's time for us to make a new home in a new city! And so far, we are doing a pretty good job! We are so excited to be living in our new place, as we hope you can see in these pictures! We've tried to do a little bit of exploring in our new city, including the beach, and we have also been simply enjoying our new apartment living space! We hope you enjoy the pictures! :)

P.S. Tori is officially a Ramirez! :) That was an adventure in itself! But after a full day of hard work, she took my last name!

Crossing the threshold for the first time! :) (She's pretty light)

The first artwork we hung on the walls! (Thanks to Tori's dad)

Drinking coffee in some mugs we got from the wedding at our table!

The beautiful table in our dining room! Getting ready for a great meal prepared by my beautiful wife!

One rainy day, Tori made a friend...

Beach trip! We are only about 15 minutes away! Which is amazing!

Heading to church! We are trying to find one to call home!

Taco night! Tori and I made them together! They were sooo good!
"Dirt Inspired Goodness" or d.i.g., a wonderful little restaurant Tori and I found! It's pretty much all super organic and locally grown.

First day of work!

Spontaneous date night/exploring night!

Quick trip to Orlando, so why not Jimmy Hula's for lunch?
THE CUTEST CHEF EVER! :) And the best one too!
Also, due to starting my job and having a new schedule... We will post most likely on Fridays now!
